Summer 2010 Acupressure 1 50 Hours (towards MT certification) $529 Based on traditional Eastern health practices. In this class students will learn specific acu points, acupressure techniques & energy balancing awareness to facilitate the release of tension, aches & pain. Traditional Eastern movement forms, energetic & relaxing breathing exercises, centering, grounding & shielding are included for practitioner self care.  Tuesday 9:30-12:30 & 1:30-4:30 July 6- Aug 10 Intro to Acupressure 7 Hours (towards MT certification)  $89 Students learn an acupresure point series on the face and head which promotes deep and lasting relaxation, and enhances vitality to the head, neck and shoulders. This specialized sequence of facial acupressure points is designed for massage, spa and cosmetology applications. Beginners  Welcome! Sunday 10am-5pm  Aug 1 Chakra Balancing 7 Hours (towards MT certification) $89 Students are introduced to the seven major chakras of the Vedic system. Students learn acupressure and polarity techniques to balance the chakras. A specific closing sequence to a bodywork session is presented to help clients integrate, ground and center. Sunday 10am-5pm  Aug 8 Foot Focus 1 20 Hours (towards MT certification)  $199 Students learn a relaxing & revitalizing sequence for reducing stress, improving circulation & balancing the body through the feet. Techniques from Swedish, Polarity, Acupressure, & an aromatherapy foot bath are covered. Saturday & Sunday   10am-5pm   July 10 & 11  Fall 2010 Energetic Anatomy: Subtle Fields   25 Hours (towards MT certification)  $269 This class will offer a direct experience of energy anatomy, layers of the auric field, meditation and working with the chakra system. Students will learn systems and structures that will provide a context and a language to communicate and work with these subtle body energies. This hands on class offers an invitation to slow down, to allow mindfullness and glean meaning from the more subtle aspects of our bodies. (Dates to be decided.)
